Education

GAAJ-ZENHOKYO has more than 30 years of experience in providing professional educational qualifications to students from all over Japan, including both local and internationally recognized diplomas. Students can obtain the Certified Gemmologist of Japan (CGJ) certification and all courses are conducted in Japanese.
 

FGA certification
GAAJ-ZENHOKYO is the only laboratory in Japan that has been authorised by the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (GEM-A) to conduct the FGA examination. 
 
Short courses and seminars
The education department also conducts various short courses, depending on industry needs and requirements, as well as staying abreast of developments in the field of gemmology.
 
GAAJ-ZENHOKYO offers a selection of short courses such as "Basic training for jewellery sales staff ". These are available periodically throughout the year and are given in Japanese only.Participants who wish to attend the short courses and seminars in other language such as English and Chinese can contact the education department.  All course enquiries may be directed to: edu@gaaj-zenhokyo.co.jp
 
As an active member of the ICA (International Colored Gemstone Association), the laboratory is in close contact with other institutes worldwide, fostering an exchange of knowledge and skills. This is transferred to student programs and is for the benefit of education and skills development.
