ZENHOKYO Israel is a subsidiary of GAAJ-ZENHOKYO Japan and is conveniently located in the heart of the diamond trading centre in Ramat Gan, Israel, from where it serves clients across the globe. As the only independent Japanese laboratory located abroad, the company provides the gateway for clients seeking to market and sell their diamonds in Japan.
 

Local and international diamond service
To facilitate the trading process between Japan and the rest of the world, a streamlined system has been created between the Israeli office and Japanese headquarters. This ensures a short turnaround time and speeds up the sales process between the client and the seller.
 

In the initial phase, the Israeli lab issues clients with a Diamond Sorting Memo which contains details of the carat, clarity, colour and cut of the stone. These can be issued to also include hearts and arrows (H&A) and indicates whether the stone is Triple Excellent.
 

The diamonds are then sent to Japan with the accompanying memo and the Japanese laboratory in turn issues a full diamond grading report based on the memo. The full diamond grading report is known to be the country’s most comprehensive and respected gemmological certification.
 
This benefits both the seller and buyer as the initial report assures the buyer of the stone's quality and other details before shipment to Japan. The final reports and specified stones therefore facilitate a speedy transaction as the order and items supplied match the transaction requirements. Once the stones have passed through the Japanese lab the deal can be swiftly finalized.
